Saturday once again saw Seaforth face
Perth County Market in Stratford with an
easy 8-5 victory.
Kelly Calver showed every ability as a
goaltender she learned in her first year at

Debbie Core started the scoring once r
again less than two minutes into the game
and the girls stayed ahead the remainder of
the game.
' Debbie also assisted ode of Jan Vanden-
berk's goals whose total count was two goals
with one assist.
Denise Morey and Lisa O'Dwyer along
witlithe whole team were hungry and netted
five goals with O'Dwyer counting three and
Morey two, with two assists.
Other assists went 'to Martha Hook, Lisa
Strong with two and a defenseman Kendra
Papple with two.
Once again the defense played a super
game, with only three defense on the team.
Seaforth and District senior ringette beat
Stratford Perth County Market two games
straight to take the Stratford league
championship trophy recently.
• The first game, played last Wednesday in
Stratford was won by Seaforth 12 to 11 with a
sudden death overtime period. .
The home team took possession of the ring
at the start of overtime and with excellent
maneuvering allowed Lisa O'Dwyer to score
with only 53 seconds into the period.
Kelly Calver, goalie, played a super game
stopping many hard shots.
Lisa •Calver, Sandra Wilson and Kendra
Papple played a strong defensive game as
Stratford's 'wings and centres are fast,
strong skaters.
Along ' with herwinning goal, O'Dwyer
scored one other with two assists.
