Tuesday night euchre was held in the
community hall with five tables in play,

The third meeting of the Belgrave Bus
Quilting B's was held on Feb. 27 with a
members present.
After the 4-H pledge and ,the roll call,
members showed the leaders their quilting
samples from the last meeting. The 4 -Hers
were shown how to do string quilting by
machine and how to choose print fabrics that
matched.
Members then worked in their books and
ended the meeting. with the 4-H motto.

euchre which was held in the W.I. Hall
Wednesday, Mar. 14.

W.I. and HO Board *thaw a euchre in the
Cemmunity • Centre on Friday, Mar. 23, at
8:30.
The March jitney was held in Brussels on
March 12 with 40 curlers participating.
After three, six end games the prizes were
awarded to first -Mervyn Bauer, Mary Hue-
ther, Greg Higgins and Kevin Acheson with
453/4 points.
Second -Fred Smith, Velma Locking, Bob
Alexander and Rick Knight with 44 points.
Third -Doc Stephenson, Joyce Alexander,
Laura MacDonald and Madelene Steiss with
351/2 points.
Fourth -Jim Patterson, Annette Lewington,
Murray Cox and Stew Steiss with 33'/4 points.
Consolation went to Brad Speiran, Yvonne
Knight, Michael Bishop and Rob Cardiff.
Personal- finance 44-H club formed
The first meeting of the personal finance
club was held at the Brussels library on
March 12. The members were given their
books and pamphlets.
The officers were drawn at random from a
hat because there are only six members.

their own apartment. For home activity
4 -Hers have to clip a rental ad from the
newspaper and make seven questions That '
can be asked on the phone and they have to
interview someone who is renting.
