Two members were absent. The rest of the girls came prepared and were ready to start appliquing. The leaders showed the girls the tech- niques of turning under the edges of a circle and a triangle. It was time to start appliquing. The girls, after starting on the circle, agreed this was more difficult than strip or plain quilting. They finished the applique of the moon - over -the -mountain, they have to quilt around the design. The next meeting will be held Wednesday,.
