In other business, the board approved
sending up to 10 trustees and the director of
education to the adnuai meeting of the
Ontario PublieSeheoffrlistees Association in
Toronto from June 29' to 'July 1.
The cost of the confereace is about $491 for
each delegate. Spouses may also come at an
additional registration cost of .$80, but the
cost is not covered by the board. •

Residents from Special Care met in the
auditorium Tuesday afternoon kr a social
time together and Elsie Henderson played
piano music. Van rides Were available on
Wednesday,
A visit from the Gederich Salvation Army
planned for Thursday afternoon was cancel-
led. But in its place, a shig song was held in
the chapel with }Elsie Hendern providing
organ music. For a leisure time, folk from
Specal Care and ladies from First Floor ,
North gathered together in the activity room.
Some of the ladies on Second Floor have
been busy working on braided mats which are
for sale. Bingo is the big attraction on Friday
afternoon, and is very popular with our
residents.
Sunday morning worship was held in the
chapel with Rev. Norman Pick in charge.

Edith Alice Smith, 98, of Edmonton. Alta.
died Feb. 27.
Predeceased by her husband, ioinf Arthur
Smith, sheig survived by two sera, Norman
and Donald. of Edmonton seven grand-
children, 12 gierif grandchildren, one niece,
Ruby M. Smith, of Saanithton, B.C., one
nephew, Dr. Donald McRae, of Willowd'ale,
and many friends in Brussels.
