THE TOWNSHI OF HNIBIRT EXPLANATORY[OE, BY-LAW We 1 ' ., The purpose of By-law No. 10-1983 which amend3 Zoning By-law No. 28.1974 Is to effect changes to certain regulations contained within Zonitlg' By-law .No. 28.1974 regarding liquid marttil:o storage facilities. These changes ate the result of Council's consideration of the regula- tions with respect to their reasonableness and effectiveness. These changes are as follows; BY-LAW NO. 10.1983 SECTION NUMBER CHANGE 1. This section substantially revises the require- ments for liquid manure storage facilities. The new requitements include an increase in the total storage period to- 240 days and new provisions tegarding drop pipes and the fencing of access ramps. 2. A new subsection has been added to the Administration provisions in the By-law which stipulates the information required by the Zoning Administrator of the Township when an applicant applies for a building permit for a liquid manure storage facility. This in information will permit a prehensive assessment of any potential vironmental impact related to a proposal storage faciiity.
