After the `first" two games of ithe O.H.A.
• Western Jr. "D" Group semi-finals the
Seaforth Centenaires and the Lucan Irish are
tied up at one gatne a(,iece.
The Centenaires took the opening game of
the series in Lucan on Wednesday night by a
' 10-8 score with the Irish coming back to win
Friday's game in Seaforth 5-3.
In Lucan the Centenaires fell behind 1-0
early in the first period but rebounded with
four straight goals to give the " a 4-1 lead.
Lucan scored one goal before tie end of the
period to cut the Seaforth lead' to 4-2 going
into the middle frame,
The Centenaires got excellent goaltending
from Keith McClure while Lucan goalie Bart ,
Powell appeared shaky as the; Irish 4utshot
Seaforth 19-9. Jeff Pauli with two goals (one
on the power play), John hale and Greg
Murray were the Centenaire scorers.
In the middle frame the Irish came out fast
and got two goals in the first minute and
eleven seconds to tie the game at 4-4.

Lucas scored the final goal of the period to
cut the lead to 7-5. Once again McClure was
the stumbling block for the Irish by coming

once agall,outshot Seaforth ,by a wide 19-9
margin.
