The Seaforth club had an entry in the
Ontario Ladies Tankard Playdown in District
13B held in Teeswater Feb. 6. This is a
double team competition.
One team was skipped by Irma Pryce with
Marie McGavin, vice, Mary Anne McNichol
second and Terry Wood, leading, The
second team of the entry was skipped by
Sheila Richardson with Darlene Hethering-
ton vice, Pat Deighton second and Loretta
Dolmage, leading. A listowel entry won the
first round.
The ' first round of WOSSA Curling
Competition was held in Wingham Feb. 10.
The boys' entry with Dave Campbell skip,
Ron i'ryce vice, Todd Doig second and ,Bruce
Morton, lead, lost out after some very close
games.
The girls' entry with Stella M isolit skips
Cora Van den Neuker vice,Kathy erre
second and Kristen Van Den Neugkker,igad:
had better luck and will enter the next round
to be played in Stratford Feb. 161. '
The first round of OCA intermediate

Novicesbeat Elma-Logan twice
Seaforth Novice travelled to Elma Logan on
Thursday Feb. 9 and defeated them 13-3.
Scoring for Seaforth was Scott Jet'�is with
four, Mike Watt four, Joe Murray two, ken
Hildebrand one and Mike Devereaux one.
Assists went to Mike Devereaux two,
Matthew McNichol two, Derek Gridzak one,
Dean Finnigan one, Mike Moylan one. and
Tyler Papple one.
On Saturday Elma Logan travelled to
'Seaforth and suffered another defeat 10 to 1.
Scoring for Seaforth was Joe Murray three,
Derek Gridzak two, Pat Maloney two, Scott
Jervis one, Mike Moylanone and Mike
Defersau .

OMHA play-offs'
The Mitchell Pee Wees eliminated the
Seaforth Pee Wees in the third game of the
OMHA play-offs by a score of 6-5, in Seaforth
on Feb. 7.
The Seaforth team led 2-1 at the end of the
first period and at the end of the second
period it was- tied 3-3.
In the third period, the scoring bounced
back and forth between the two teams. With
3:45 left in tthe period both teams were tied
5.5 and then with only 36 seconds left in the
game Mitchell scored the winning goal.
Goalscorers for Seaforth were Brian
Jason Schoonderweerd, G,ordl
Pat Nigh and Ray Murray.
Assists went to Ray M two, Jason
Rodney, Gordle O'Dwyer and ason Schoon-
derwoerd.
Seaforth now plays Wingham in the
WOAA play-offs.
