Cows fed the higher level of protein of soluble -protein (protein that can be degraded in the rumen). If the rations contained lower amounts of protein or if the protein was by-passed so that it was not as so/able 1t3 the tureen, conception rates appeared to be higher. Cows in the study dining the first 14 weeks of lactation were feel' rations that contained 12.7,16.3 or 19.37 exude protein. showed heat sooner after calving.
