Karen Finlayson visited residents on
Sunday afternoon and took Elmer Bakcsy,
Harold Walsh and Mack Tiffin out for a drive.
Residents have started their indoor gard-
ening project,and last Tuesday, 12 amaryllis
bulbs were planted by the ladies. Wayne
Hedges also is experimenting with four bulbs
kept over from iast.;year, ila• Gardner had a
beautiful white" bulb last year with 10
;gorgeous blooms MI it at one time,.
CURLING was enjoyed at the Seaforth
Optimist Winter Carnival on Saturday.
Although the Optimist Club was the main
organizer, several organizations assisted to
make the event a success. The curling was
billed as a fun day and was a Chance for
non -curlers to try out the sport.

The Blyth Festival has received a Canada
Works grant of $13,000 from Employment
and Immigration Canada to help organize
—and.-promote-the•Festtval's 10th anniversary.
