The mixed euchreto be held this Saturday
evening promises to be one of the best
attended euchres to date with about ,25
tables or more in play. There will be a
pot -luck supper from 6-7 p.m. with the
euchre starting at _eight. The rest of the
evening will be spent in dancing to Lively
Lou.
There are quite a few membership cards
to be picked up at the branch so at your first
opportunity drop by and pick yours up.
Remember any dues not paid in the next two
weeks will mean loss of membership in the
branseh.
Important news is the fact that past -presi-
dent, Bill Wllbee and your P.R.O. are now
entering their fifth week of no smoking to
join the ranks of those (I hope) who saw the
light a long time ago.
At the going down of the sun and in the
morning we will remembet them.

At the meeting of theexecutive committee
last week there were two chairs and a table
on display that the appointed committee had
acquired for approval by the executive and
to' show to the general meeting thiS week.
Anyone wishing to see these chairs and
tables may do by looking in the back room in
the Legion. The proposed carpet that has
been chosen e'en be seen-at-Boes Furniture.
The monies for this expenditure will be
discussed and voted on by motion at t
general meeting Thursday evening at 8:
p.m.
The Zone bowling was held Saturday in
Clinton with three teams from Seaforth
competing. The top team was from goderich
but one Seatorth team came fourth. The top
