asspciations such as the Cancer Society, the,

have been preparing for six months to getthe
message across,
To those who smoke cigarettes, the
message is: "Join the majority - . Be a
non-smoker",

working, because its easier to find a

before," said Mr. Sykes.
Jim Beckett of Exeter, while he quit cold
turkey, also experienced some shock therapy.
About a year ago, his late' father, who Jim
recalls had always requested that he 'stop
smoking„ gave him the shock therapy.
