A short program was presented by the children and convened by Barbara Scott. Kids made up rescitations and musical. numbers, A movie, "The Night The Animals Talked". was shown by Terry Johnston. A short sing song was led by Mary Doig. Santa Claus arrived to •distribute a bag of candy to all the children. On behalf of the Legion 1 would like to thank the comrades who helped. The turkey bingos. sponsored' by the entertainment committee turned out to he a huge success. They would like to thank the players for coming out and also those that worked. A busy branch is a good branch. The last stag euchre of the year was held Wednesday with 13 tables in play. The two winners were Bill Smith and Earl McNaugh- ton, Al Nicholson won the lone hands. All received turkeys.- Bill and Earl were the DABBER BINGO Dublin Col.. _: o Centre EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT $1,200 IN PRIZES $500. JACKPOT MUST GO Sponsored by Dublin Community Centre Bingo. You must lie 16 years old to play. HAPPY 25th ANNIVERSARY MOM and DAD defending champions from the previous euchre. The next stag euchre will be Jan. 2 at 8 p.m. - Last Saturday evening Legion members enjoyed an evening of darts in the branch. For the next few Saturday evenings, Earl Laycox would like all those who might be interested in darts to come out and play. Maybe we could form a league in the new year. There are still a few tickets available for New- Years Eve Dance. For tickets please phone Jack Muir, Jack Eisler, John Lansink or Gloria Racho. An evening of full entertainment is promised. Thursday evening is the regular meeting of the Branch at 8 p.m. On Friday evening (Dec. 21) the branch is sponsoring music for your dancing pleasure, so come on down and enjoy yourselves. On New Years Day, a Levee will be held at the branch in the afternoon. An invitation has been extended to all members of council. clubs and lodges. Owing to the holidays there will be no column until the New Year. In the meantime, anyone who is in hospital or shut-in at home for the holidays, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
