on Nov. 29, St. Joseph's Hospital, London. A

The Christmas meeting of the Seaforth
Women's Institute was held at the Orange
Hall with families and friends present.
• After a potluck supper, a short meeting
was held with Mrs. R. Gordon in the chair, A
donation will be given to Day Care Centre for
Homebound, Huronview, Children's War
Memorial Hospital, London, for which the
ladies are also going to make crib quilts.
Parcels were brought in for a family whose
home had burned, Christmas carols were
sung. Mrs. E. Kerr pave a humorous reading.
Mrs. G. MacKenzie played the part of a
postmistress and did an amusing dialogue of
duties she encountered at (^hristmas rime.
Mrs. L. Pipe gave a reading followed by a
skit by Mrs. J. Keys and Mrs. L. Dale on
"Applying for Citizenship",
Prizes for euchre were: most games,
ladies, Mrs. A. Pepper; men. Gordan Papple;
The program convenors were Mrs. R.
Gordon, Mrs. J. Keys and Mrs. L. Dale.

BEUERMAN: Glen and Marilyn (nee Koch -
ler) are pleased to announce the birth of their
second child, a daughter, Erin Margaret on
Nov, 29 at Stratford General Hospital
weighing 8 lbs.. She is the 18th grandchild for
Margaret Beuerman.

The services of the Seaforth-Dashwrood
Community Band are still in demand.
On Dec. 15, the band played at the Zurich
Santa parade, The band is under the direction
of H: Hoffman. They presented a diversed
program of carols and standard marches.
To show their . Santa spirit the band
journeyed to the Bitiewater Rest Home and
played another concert.
This completes over 20 performances for
the,1984 season,

KIM CAMPBELL, daughter of Ken and Joan
Campbell, RR 1, Dublin recently graduated
from the University of Guelph at the Fall
Convocation on Oct. 5. Kim received her
Bachelor of Arts Degree from the College of
Social Science with 'a Major in Political
Studies and a major in Sociology and
Anthropology. She is a former graduate of
Seaforth Public School and Alma College, St.
Thomas. Kim is employed as a Members
Assistant in the House of Commons, Ottawa.
