Parents were treated to a musical program and also had the opportun- ity to visit classrooms, see school work on display and talk with teachers. You have to know why you do not feel well so you know what kind of a specialist you should 'see. *•***** The government isnot rich. Many of us roust think it is for we keep expecting more and more funding for any number of reasons. If government promises to give us some• thing, it must first take it from us. This was held in the Brussels Melville Presbyterian Church. Bro. Bray was master of ceremonies. Sister Linda Thomas entertained by singing two solos. Angela Petten of the Wingham. and 'District High School gave an interesting and delightful talk on the educational, entertain- ing and emotional aspects of her 10 day trip to New York and her visit to a session of the United Nations. Angela won a public speaking contest available to pupils from the District High Schools to compete. This trip was sponsored by the Oddfellows and Rebekahs of Huron Districts 48 and 23. Mrs. Clem McLellan, Mr, and Mrs. Alvin McLellan, Sarah and Melissa, Mr. and Mrs. Carl McLellan, Ronnie, Matthew and Lance visited on Friday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Alvin McLellan Sr, of Listowel to help Mr. and Mrs. McLellan celebrate their 63rd wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Graber have returned from a recent holiday in Niagara Falls to celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary. Vicki Machan recently graduated with honours after taking a secretarial course from Lougheed College in Kitchener. The gradua- tion exercises took place in the Grand Ball Room at Bingeman Park.
