Dr. and Mrs. Hazelwood were in Hamilton
for the weekend where he preached at the
75th anniversary service in Binkleys' Dr.
Hazelwood served there for 17 years during
which time the present church was built.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Miller spent a weekend
recently with their son and daughter-in-law

the Miller home and called on other relatives
and friends before leaving for Florida.
Mary Errington of Goderich visited with
Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Perrie,
Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Perrie spent a weekend
recently with Rev. and Mrs. James Petrie and
family at Fenwick. While there they attended
anniversary services at North Pelham's First
Presbyterian Church.

Remembrance Sunday was observed at
Duff's United Churdh with Rev. Charles A.
Swan speaking on "God Gives Peace",
Mrs. Martin Baan greeted worshippers,
Margery Huethgr was organist and pianist
and accompanied Graeme Craig when he
sang.a solo. Helen Craig joined Graeme when
they led in a duet. Ushers were Allan Searle,
Ian Wilbee and Lavern Godkin,
On Monday evening, the UCW executive
met at the home of Viola Kirkby. The Walton
and Bluevale boards will meet Nov, 14.
Remember the change of date of the
Walton 1 Unit meeting, both units will meet
for a joint meeting on Nov. 15 at 8:00 p.m.
The speaker is Holly Keil.
The annual turkey supper held on Wed-
nesday evening was well attended when
ladies fed over 600 people, A noon luncheon
was served on Thursday at the church to over
100 people. •
The Walton Women's Institute will serve
another noon luncheon this Wednesday.
Everyone is welcome.
