establishment of Huronview, the construc-
tion of the Auburn patrol yard garage and this
year, the completion of the Forester's bridge.
"We have been fortunate we have been
able to achieve so much in so few years." said
the retiring warden. -

He acknowledged, however that in his term
as warden, there have been numerous issues

Deer hunt possible for Perth County?
The Ministry of Natural Resources is again
going to approach Perth County Council
regarding a controlled deer hunt.
Ron Spurr of the Wingham district of the
ministry told the annual meeting of the Perth
County Municipal Association that he would
like to see county council embrace the
philosophy of a controlled deer hunt.
He proposed that for 1985 afour day deer
hunt be held in the county with only certain
types of ammunition being allowed.
County council turned down the idea of a
deer hunt two years ago when the ministry
made a similar request.
Mr. Spurr said there are 848 hunters in
Perth County and said there is some demand
for a deer season in the county.
The ministry of natural resources repre-
sentative said he will be making a proposal to
