BETTY McGREGOR
Betty McGregor, the former Elizabeth
Miller Aikenhead, died at the Clinton Public
Hospital on Friday, Nov. 9. She was 91.
A ,resident of Brucefield, she was prede-
ceased by her husband Gregor (Greg)
McGregor. She is survived by one son, Fred
of Petrolia; one sister, Lorna, Mrs. Maxwell
Tully of Peterborough; three grandchildren,
Larry, Glen and Karen; and,five great
grandchildren, Karey, Laura, Tyer, Tait and
John,
She was predeceased by two sisters,
Margaret Aikenhead; Jessie, Mrs. Charles
Lane;- and by four brothers, Clarence,
Frederick, John and Wilfred Aikenhead.
Funeral service was held on Monday, Nov.
(2 from the Ball and Falconer Funeral Home,
Clinton. Interment in Baird's Cemetery,
Stanley Township.
SARAH FOX
Sarah Fox, the former Sarah MacMillan of
RR 5. Goderich, died at the Alexandra
Marine and General Hospital, Goderich on
Friday, Nov. 9. She was 73. '
'Surviving besides her husband Thomas
Fox are one daughter, Sally, Mrs. Ron
Preszcator of Oshawa;`two sons, Duncan of
Pine River and David of Goderich.
She is also survived by one sister, Janet,
Mrs. Ed Andrews of Seaforth; one brother
Duncan MacMillan off South Bend,, Indiana
and seven grandchildren.
Funeral service was held at the McCallum
Funeral Home, Goderich on Monday, Nov.
12. Temporary entombment Maitland Ceme-
tery Mausoleum. Interment in Harpurhey
Cemetery, Seaforth.
Seaforth Rebekah _Lodge held a memorial
service on Sunday'vening at the funeral
home.
REGINA)LD CARR
Reginald W. Carr of St. Marys died at
Memorial Hospital, St. Marys on Sunday,
Nov, 11. He was 75.
Predeceased by his wife, the former lona
Hugill, he was also predeceased by one sister
Mina Baker; two brothers, George and
Thomas Carr.
Surviving are aunts, uncles, cousins' and
nine nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held at the Lindsay -
Sass Funeral Home, St. Marys on Tuesday,
'Nov. 13. Interment in St. Marys Cemetery.
ROSS TYNDALL
Ross Murray Tyndall, a mechanical
engineer with Inco at Copper Cliff died at the
Memorial Hospital, Sudbury on Oct. 27 lifter
a lengthy illness. He was 31.
Born in Sudbury, he had lived there all his

Ottawa and a member of the Professional
Engineering Association.
Surviving besides his wife the former
Claudette Bruneau are his parents Neil and
Dorothy Tyndall of Sudbury and one sister
Sheila of Ottawa.
He is also survived by his uncles and
aunts, Bob and Alice Tyndall and Cliff and
Violet Broadfoot of Seaforth.
Funeral service was held at the Lougheed
Funeral Home. Interment in Park Lawn
Cemetery, Sudbury:
GEORGE PIINKNEY
George Pinkney of Seaforth died at the
Seaforth Community Hospital on Oct. 23. He
was 85.
A son of the late John Pinkney and Anna
Bradford, he was predeceased by two
brothers, William and Robert; and three
sisters, Mary Jane, Margaret Clara, and
Mabel,
Resting at the Whitney-Ribey Funeral
Home, Seaforth, funeral service was held at
St. Thomas Anglican Church on Oct. 26.
Rev. Gordon Simmons officiated. interment
in Ma)tlandbank Cemetery, Seaforth.
Pallbearers were Frank Sills, Gord
Wright, George Hays, Tom Devereaux,
Harry Scott and Terry Bowdidgi.

Gordon MacKenzie celebrating their 40th
wedding anniversary, were Olive Brown,
Regina Saskatchewan; Leeta Boxall, Edgeley
Saskatchewan; Howard and Doris Drewer,

Pretty, former Seaforth residents now of
Regina Saskatchwan. '
Mr. and Mrs, Robt. Tyndall were in
Sudbury on Oct. 29 attending the funeral of
their nephew Ross Tyndall.
Mrs. Mel Baynton of Swift Current,
Saskatchewan is visiting with Mr. and Mrs.
MacKenzie and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Papple of
Egmondville.

SAMPA: James and Cheryl -Ann Sampa are
pleased to announce the birth of their son,
Malindima Alexander, on Nov. 7. Proud
grandparents are Mrs. Kabengele Sampa of
Zambia and Mr. and Mrs, Alex Stadelbauer
of Mitchell.
FEENEY: Mike and Donna are pleased to
announce the safe arrival of their first child, a
son, 'Dennis Michael on Nov. Sth, 1984

Egmondville UCW
hosts meeting
The Egmondville UCW held their regular
meeting on Tuesday. November 6 at 8:00
p.m.
President. Edna Wilson, welcomed every•
one and read an article on "Remembrance
Day". The hymn "God of Our Fathers
Known of Old" was sung.
Money donations are being sent to
Compassion to help support our adopted
child, to the Town and Country Homemakers
and to Alma College.
An invitation was extended to us from St.
James CWL to attend their bazaar and tea on
Saturday. Nov. 24.
Janet Papple was in charge of the
Devotions. She introduced Anne McBride.
Anne, her husband Larry and baby daughter
took a year off from their farming operations.

YOUNG AT HEART—John Reid celebrated
his 96th birthday earlier this month with an
open house.. With a family history of
longevity in his favor, Mr. Reid says he Is
looking forward to celebrating his 100th
birthday Mr Reid overcame a severe heart
