, At a meeting of the Brussels Agricul-
tural Society recently, it was decided that a
fund-raising dance would have to be held. A
financial report was given of the two day fair
and the construction of a new barn,
Although the sun was shining, the fair still
lost money.
The Tuesday evening collection was
$320.05, the admission on Wednesday was
$1461 and the midway $312.
The expenses included: fair books
$707.40; advertising, in three papers 8667;
entry tags and ribbons $300.70; without any
prize money being paid.
The new barn cost about $9500. with the
steel for the roof costina $4082.40.
The Mercy Brothers dance held in May to
raise money lost the fair board $1100. The
Queen of the fair dance made $1493.
Graeme Craig is to be paid $45 for being
master of cereto.t..e.s on Wednesday and
the Brussels Pipe Band $75.
A discussion followed on the selling of the
fairgrounds and palace. It was d..ceded to

A Future for Angela ...
A Future for the War Amps
And when there are no more War Amputees?
A question we are asked, and we have a very good answer.
Angela Craig is a member of our Child Amputee Program and
wears a special myo-electric arm and hand the War Amps
VW helped to provide. This kind of help, and the many programs
we operate, will continue far into the future because when there are no longer War
Amputees, we will become THE CANACf1AN AMPUTEES FOUNDATION and will
continue to offer children like' Angela every hope for the brightest future.
Amputees helping amputees. Our legacy will live on
