War brides held reunion in Niagara Falls
LEGION
N K 9 d S
I have just returned from Niagara Falls
where I attended with my wife Barbara, her
annual War Brides Reunion. Close to three
hundred War Brides were in attendance. On
Sunday she joined three other Auxiliary
members to attend the Provincial convention
of Auxiliaries. Those attending from Seaforth
were their President, Thelma Coombs, Olave
Little, Pat Schellenberger and Barbara Scott.
This coming week is designated "Legion
Week", by the Provincial Command. We
hope to bring to the public's attention some of
the projects the Legion has been associated
with, The branch will have "Open House" all
week for those wishing to visit our facilities
and view the showcases and go through the
books dedicated with pictures of the veter-
ans, those who have passed on and of those
still living from around these parts.
Thursday, Sept. 13, the Legion is holding
