Velma and Margaret Wiley and Kay
McMenamin of Markdale spent Sunday with
Mary McIver.
Mary Chapple and Grace Pepper returned
home July 22 after visiting the British Isles;
England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. While
attending a Scottish night out at Jamie's they
saw Jim and Brenda Maclntosh..The Scottish
Highlands were the highlight of the trip to
Mary. The heather, was out in a few patches,
but moreso in southwest England.
Ireland was not green as we anticipated.
It was hard for the ladies to comprehend
the age of some of the buildings and artifacts
in them.
Laura Stewart has returned home after
spending three weeks in the British Isles.
