Obituaries
ROSS LEONHHARDT
Ross Leonhardt, of RRI, Bornholm, died at
his home on Friday. July 6. He was 57.
Born in Logan Township, he was a son of
the late Christian William Leonhardt and Ella
Sophia Mogk. He farmed in Logan Township
and operated Twin Bells Ranch.
He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran
Church. Brodhagen, a director of the
McKillop Mutual Fire Insurance Co., and a
director of the Mitchell Agricultural Society.
Surviving is his wife, the former Nita
Beuerrnann. Also surviving are one son,
Kim, and one daughter, Kathy, Mrs. Dan
Patterson. all of RRI, Bornholm.
Funeral service was held on Monday, July
9 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in
Brodhagen. with Rev. Arthur Horst officiat-
ing. Interment in the church cemetery.
Directors of the McKillop Mutual Insur-
ance Co. attended the service. On Sunday,
members of the Mitchell Agricultural Society
paid their respects at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Laurie and Donald Rose,
Ross Kahle, Glenn Mogk, Ralph Fischer, and
,Carman Mogk.
FRANK MORRIS
Frank Morris of Seaforth died on Sunday,
July 8 at Seaforth Community Hospital. He
was 75.
Mr. Morris was the son of the late James
Morris and Elizabeth Long. He was
predeceased by three brothers, James,
Joseph, aid Fergus, and two sisters,
Lorretta, iiiid Mary Rees.
Surviving are two sisters, Carmel. Mrs.
Emmett Malone of Seaforth, and Celia,
Sister St. Luke of London.
Friends may call at the Whitney-Ribey
Funeral Home in Seaforth until 10:30 today
(Wednesday) when funeral mass will be held
at St. James Roman Catholic Church.
Interment in St Columban 'Cemetery.
WiLFRED KEFFER
Wilfred Howard Keifer of Ethel died on
June 30 at Listowel Memorial Hospital. He
was 76.
The late Mr. Keifer is survived by his wife,
the former Marjorie Brown. He is also
survived by one son, Alex, of Brussels; one
daughter, Rita, Mrs. Stan Morrison, of RRI,
Fullarton: four brothers, Dick of Dornock,
Ralph of Brussels, and Fred and Lloyd of
Ethel; five ,grandchildren and three great
grandchildren.
He was predeceased by one son in infancy.
and one brother.
A funeral service was held from the
Brussels Chapel of the M.L. Watts Funeral
Homes on July 3. Rev. Stanley McDonald
officiated.
Pallbearers were nephews Larry, Danny.
Murray. Robbie, Randy. and Ctrs Keifer.
Flowerbearers were granddaughters Rhonda
and Debbie.
ALVIN JONES
Alvin Lewis Jones, 40, of RR2 Clinton, died
Wednesday. July 4 as the result of a farm
accident.
Surviving are his wife, the former Linda
Papple, one daughter Lana. one son, David,
his mother Jessie Jones. of Clinton. two
sisters, Marion, Mrs. James Snell, of RR1
Clinton and Lois. Mrs. Kenneth Moore, of
Egmondvllle, one brother. Larry, of Clinton.
father and mother-in-law. Gordan and Ruth
Papple,ofSeafotth. brother-in-law. Kenneth
P-aliple otKitt3tcrier, and several nieces and
nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Morgan
Jones.
Funeral services,w•ere held on Friday. July
6 at the Ball and Falconer Funeral Home.
Clinton. interment Clinton Cemetery.
Donations to the Intensive Care Unit of the
Clinton Public Hospital or to the Ontario
Street United Church Memorial Fund will be
received as expressions of sympathy.
HELEN MrQDARRIE
Helen Jean McQuarrie of Brussels died at
, her home on June 29.
Mrs. McQuarrie was a daughter of the late
Patrick Nigh and Helen Bettis.
She is survived by her husband. Elwood
Wm. (Dick) McQuarrie. She is also survived
by one son Bill, his wife Fran. and two
grandchildren, Mary Joan and Michael. of
Calgary; three sisters. Margaret Fre=an of
Clinton. Betty Salisbury of Seaforth, and
Ruth, Mrs. Pete Horne, of Mitchell; and
three brothers. Innis. Joe, and Robert Nigh,
all of Seafurtb.
Funeral service was held from the Brussels
Chapel of the M.L. Warts Funeral Homes on
July 2. Rev. Robin Lyons officiated. Inter-
ment in Brussels Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Dick Stephenson. Gare
man. Bob Hoilandback. Danny Adams.
Wayne Hoy. and Jim Nigh
MARY ELIZABETH OVINGTON
Mari Elizabeth Ovington of Brussels and
formerly of Wroxeter died at Wingham and
District Hospital on July 5 She was 79.
The late Mrs. Ovington was predeceased
by her parents. Richard and Mary Jane
Alecto. and her husband. Samuel J.
Ovington. in 1961. She was also predeceased
by three brothers and three sisters.
Surviving are one daughter. Jane. Mrs.
Clarence White of RR4. Brussels: one sun.
Tony of Brussels; seven grandchildren and
seven great grandchildren.
Funeral service was held from the Brussels
Chapel of M.L. Watts Funeral Home on July
Rev. Charles Carpenter officiated. Inter-
ment in Brussels cemetery.
Pallbearers were Sid, Rick. Keith. and
Brian White. Reg Watson, and Art Gibson.
Flowerbearers were Carl Bondii. Murray
McNichol, Ross Sinners. and Jack Mr -

Utmost Andrew Moore of Wroxeter and
fon,,ealy of Brussels. tired at the Palm.. stun
District Hospital on Sunday. July 1 . He was
"74.
Predeceased by his wife Dorothy Eciens-
w filer in Pr& he is survived by four
daughters. Agnes. Mrs. Osuaa Heisler of
Wingham; Shirley, Mrs.. Steve Hamilton of
Ear Falls: Pauline. Mrs. Leonard Bates of
[lesson: Joyce. Mrs. Robert Broome of Ear
Fails; four sons, Frank of Dra yloa: Walter of
Whitechurch and Joseph and Charles. both of
Wroxeter. Also surviving are several grand-
children, grandchildren and one sister
Fiorenee, 'Mrs. Bert Yuill of Brussels.
The late Mr. Moore was predeceased by
four daughters. Alice, Mrs. Wi)lys Kalish:
Pearl, Donaida, Annie. and one son Thomas:
Five sisters and three brothers.
Funeral service was held from the Gorrie
Chapel of M.L. Watts Funeral Homes on
Wednesday. July 4. Rev. Lloyd Martin
officiated. Interment in Wroxeter Cemetery.
