Montgomery, weal bas been sick, at his father's home in (rorrie for same weeks, died on Tuesday of this week. Deceased was suffering from lung trouble and was 29 years of age. —Our local cotem, the Advance, has jest entered upon its thirty-first year. We are pleased to note tile success that has attended its efforts to keep pace with the tunes, and join with its many friends and patrons in wishing the paper and its proprietor continued prosperity, —The regular meeting of Camp Cale- donia, Sons of Scotland, was held on Monday evening. The Camp decided to hold the annual Scottish concert in Jan. uary and the committee was instructed to procure the very best talent. The date of the concert and other particulars will be announced. in a future issue. —Mr. Will Roderus, son of Mr, P. H. Roderus, of town, met with a painful accident while at work .in a hardware store at London recently. Ho slipped and fell on some broken glass and had one of his knees very badly cut. He was confined to his room for some days, but is now almost able to be around again. PE RSONALS. Miss Norma Dinsley is visiting with friends in Ingersoll. Miss Birdie McCracken is spending two weeks with her brother in London. Mr. [I. M. Tudhope, was visiting in Woodstock for a few days this week. Miss Sarah Stewart left for Toronto, where she intends residing in future. Miss Hamilton, of St. Thomas is visit- ing with her brother, Mr. A. L. Hasnil- to Mr. Robt Galbraith, of Guelph spent the Labor Day holidays at his home in Own. Mrs. Zurbrigg, of Listowel, was visiting with her son, Mr. M. E. Zurbrigg ovei Sunday. Miss Minnie Linklater has returned home from Detroit and is visiting at her home here. Mrs. Jas. .e1.1' C ute,of Owen Sound, is visiting with her daughter, Mrs. 0. A. 1 Campbell. Mr, and Mrs. H.
