THE FEELING OFCHRISTMAS
BY DANNY MCNAUGHTON
The coloured lights shine,
at Christmas time,
Magic fills the air.
The trees are trimmed,
lights are dimmed,
for Christmas turkey meals.
And if you dare,.
to take a peak,
at Santa with his toys.
You will see,
his jolly face,
and hear the rowdy noise.
And when it is' over,
and the New Years is. in,
Christmas is coming so wear a grin.
CHRISTMAS EVE
BY GREG PRESZCATOR
Seaforth Public School
Snow is falling on the ground
No sign of Santa can be found
Children lay awake in bed
Dreams of Santa in their heads
Santa's singing in the sky,
While his reindeer jump and fly,
He stops on top a big brick house,
Being as quiet as a mouse,
He grabs his sack full of toys,
Making sure not to make a noise,
Goes down the chimney quick as can be,
Leaves the presents then he flees,
Goes up the chimney and into his sleigh,
And sure enough you'll here him say,
"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good
night,"

CH RISTM AS POEM
BY ANNE MARIE BEUERMAN
Seaforth Public School
Santa Claus is coming,
He's coming very soon,
He will look to find us
By the light of the full moon.
December is the month
That he will arrive,
The 25th is the day,
Thal he will say
"Mercy Christmas to all and to all a good
day!"

W INTER & CHRISTMAS
BY KRISTA RATH W ELL
Grade 8
Huron Centennial School
The snow in the air
little feet all around
On the roof, on the ground
Looking at trees, oh so bare.
Frosty white, icicles too
Way down the ice, he shoots
Out come the winter snow boots,
This wrapped gift is just' for you.
Catching a snowflake on your tongue,
Mittens, gloves, that you wear,
Kids are always,on the tear,
"Deck the Halls" has to be sung.
Songs are sung, everywhere,
Snowflakes of all different kinds,
"Merry Christmas" say all the signs,
Happiness and joy fill the air.
Elves are dressed in red and white,
Toys being made, every hour,
Look at that huge toy tower,
Snow and Christmas, a pretty sight.
.Snowbanks that are really high,
Steaming hot chocolate, skis and poles,
Let's go warm up over the fire's coals,
Wow! Look at that mincemeat pie.

CHRISTMAS
BY JONATHAN WHEATLEY
Seaforth Public School
Joyous children romp about,
Can't be heard o'er all the din;
Santa passing by we doubt,
Peace on. Earth to all my kin.
Stockings full to overflowing,
Happy children glow with mirth;
Outside it is really snowing,
Don't forget it's Jesus's birth.
SNOW STORM ON CHRISTMAS NIGHT
BY KEVIN CARDNO
Seaforth Public School
Snowing, snowing on Christmas night,
Santa is ready for a snowstorm fight,
Santa Claus asked Rudolph if he could guide
the sleigh tonight,
Santa Claus made all of his rounds thanks to
Rudolph, of course.
Rudolph got a reward from Santa and the
elves,
Rudolph was happy for a long time.

The Christmas tree,
The Christmas tree,
As green as can be,
'The lights light up with glee.
The snow falls,
The snow falls,
As white as can be,
It covers the ground completely.
The stockings,
The stockings,
As red and green as can be,
Hung by the chimney as happy as can be.
May laughter warm your .hearts & home
