After the presentation of white gifts, the
children went to the basement for their
lessons with teachers, Maxine Marks, Gloria

Since Sunday was the first Sunday of
Advent, the first candle was lit by Elizabeth

the Egmondville minister in charge.
BAIL TEAM ENTERTAINED
On Saturday, November23 the Walton Pee
W ee ball team were taken to Palmerston by
their coaches, Bruce Clark and Steve Noble
Sr.
They were treated to the use of the pool,
sauna and whirlpool at "The Ranton Place."
The boys then played the video games prior to
finishing the day with a dinner at the same
place.
Team members are: Joe Ryan, Steve Fritz,
Steve Noble Jr., Tim Nolan, John Steffler,
Tony Greidanus, Brian Alcock, Ron Steven-
son, Manny Taylor, Jim Clark and Gary
Williamson.
Hullett concurs
with additional
fire funds
Mullett Township Council passed a motion
at its latest meeting to concur with the
resolution of the Village of Omemee regard-
ing additional funding for municipalities
whose volunteer fire departments have been
diversified to include CPR, .First Aid, Auto
extrication and traffic control.
Also to the meeting council;
Passed a motion to prepare a by-law
agreeing to the proposed three -year -agree-
ment presented by the Seaforth Community
I'entres Board
-Approved the tile drain loan application of
Dejong Farms Ltd. at Pari tots 27 and 28,
Concession 14, subject to township by-law
and availability of funds.
-Passed a motion to open the Court of
Revision for the Ball Drainage Works naming
the full, council as members with Tom
Cunningham as chairman.
•Passed a by-law to provide for a drainage
works in the Township of Hullett and for
borrowing on the credit of the municipality in
the amount of $22,500 for its completion.
