The presentation was made by linda /Win. in addition two new members were inducted at 'the October meeting, with lion liaison Officers Irwin Johnston and Brian Nuhn present. The guest speaker was Laurie Erb. She gave an informative talk on palliative care in the area. At the November meeting clubs from Atwood and Exeter were present. Guest speaker for the evening was Steve Hilde- brand of Hildebrand Flowers, who gave a demonstration on decorations for the Christ- mas holidays. lioness president Linda AIIin and secre- Volunteers Seaforth Health Care Facility residents went bowling Monday, The 'winner was Pat Ryan. Receiving the fifth year pins were linda Arlin, Frances Teatero, Betty Coleman, Dorothy Hays, Helen Stewart, Flora -Anne McAllister, Ver- na Stephenson and Viol Taylor. Fourth year pins were received by Ruth Thorburn and Mary -Margaret Nash. Anne Dayman and Colleen Lindemann received third year pins. A second year pin was presented to Cathy Elliott and first year pins were received by Marjorie Hulley, Rose Cook, Kathy Willis and Scarlet Swan. The lioness Club will again be working with the Lions Club in their annual Christmas parade on Saturday. The lioness will be serving hot chocolate and donuts at Mc - THE HURON EXPOSITOR, NOVEMBER 27, 1985 - All Laughlins, to all participants of the parade. The Family and Childrens Services "Christmas Bureau" will be sponsored by the lioness Club again this year. It will be held at the former "Marty's Place," thanks to the generosity of Rod Lyons who is donating the use of the store for this project. Any donations may be deposited there from December 9 to December 14. Tickets for three mystery gifts were sold at the meeting and winners were, Dorothy Webster. linda Aliln and a guest from one of the visiting clubs.
