Mrs. Gordon DeJong of Brucefield graduated
from St. Clair College of Nursing in Chatham.
She has accepted a position at Kapuskasing
General Hospital.
JAN MCNICIIOL graduated recently from.
Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo with a
Bachelorof Arts Degree in Geography, with a
Psychology minor. Jan is the daughter of Mel
and Violet Hulley of Seaforth and daughter-
in-law of Ralph and Annie McNichol of
Seaforth. She is the wife of Don McNichol and
mother of Brian, Joy and Kevin. Mrs.
McNichol is employed by the Waterloo
County Board of Education as a Blind
Specialist teacher in the Vision Program.

Sunday as Rev. Cheryl Ann Stadelbauer-
Sampa received five children into the church

About 50 relatives and friends of Jan
McNichol celebrated her recent graduation
from Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo
with a •dinner at Cedar Grove Lodge in
Et'bsville.
Mrs. McNichol is the daughter of Mel and
Violet Hulley and daughter-in-law of Ralph
and Annie McNichol, all of Seaforth. She is
married to Don and mother to Brian, Joy and
Kevin.

OBITUARIES
EDWARD LARNE OKE (Ted), son of John
and Joan Oke of RR 3, Exeter, and grandson
of Jessie Boyd of Seaforth, received a
scholarship award.forbeing the student with
the highest average from the County of
Huron, enrolled in the Bachelor of Science
(Agriculture) Program at the University of
Guelph, Ted is a second year student in. the
Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Business
course at the university. He was also recently
chosen, Most Valuable Player in a hockey
tournatnent held at the university. Ted is a
graduate of South Huron District High School
and a former Exeter minor hockey player. ,
ANNE ELIZABETH MOORE
Anne Elizabeth Moore. 82. died Friday,
November 22. 1985 at Toronto Western
Hospital
A daughter of the late Isaac and Elizabeth
Moore she is survived by a brother. Davis A
Moore and his wife Jean of Guelph and a
sister-in-law, Belle Moore of Seaforth Also
surviving are several nieces and nephews
She was predeceased by three brothers.

Friends called at the Trull Funeral Home
on Yonge Street in Toronto and a funeral
service was held in its chapel on Sunday.
Friends called at the W hitney- Ribey Funeral
Home on Monday and a committal service

HAROLD LESITE HUDTF
Harold Leslie Hudie. 64. of Seaforth and
formerly of McKillop Township, died at
University Hospital in London on Friday.
November 22. 1985
A farmer in McKillop Township and a
pipefitter with Archer's Farm Systems in
Vanastra, Mr. Hudie was the son of the late
Clarence William Hudie and the former Illy
Laving Rinn, of Seaforth.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Hudie is
survived by his wife, the former Alberta
Hickson, daughters Mrs. John (Kandy)
Insley of Edmonton,. Alberta; Mrs. Brent
(Margaret) Martin of London and Susanne
Hickson of Seaforth; sons Don Hickson of
Waterloo and Les Hudie of Seaforth. He is
also survived by four grandchildren.
Friends were received at the" -Ball and
Falconer "Box Funeral Chapel" in Seaforth
and a funeral service was held at Northside
United Church Monday with the Rev. J.
Vanslyke officiating. Interment was in
Maitlandbank Cemetery.
Pallbearers were brothers-in-law Raymond
Ford, Norman Ford and James Ford, all of
London and neighbors Keith Rock. RR 4,
Walton. Dave McKay of RR 1, Seaforth and
Mert Hackwell. RR 4, Walton.
