Centenaires boost record with two wins
in the second period Seaforth came across

Bennett, assisted by Jim Campbell and Tom
Tuner; Jerry Wright, assisted by Dan
Wesenberg and Jim Campbell; Jim Camp-
bell, assisted by Tom Turner and Jerry
Wright and Bill Dale, assisted by Jim
Campbell were the Seaforth goal scorers.
Mitchell's only goals came in the third
period from Jeff Paulie and Tom Uniac but
were almost a wasted effort. Seaforth's
Kevin Melody, assisted by Mike Betties and
Bill Dale, moved in again for the Centen-
naires,
In a game earlier in the week the
Centenaires lost 10-0 to Belmont.
The Seaforth Centenaires boosted their
record to six wins and three losses with two
wins and a loss over the week.
MOUNT BRYDGES
On Sunday they recorded a 5-3 win over
. Mount Rrydges before a home crowd.
Darrell O'Connell started the scoring for
the Seaforth squad at just over two minutes
into the first period. He was set up for the
goal by Brian Steckley and Mark Johnston.
Mount Brydges tied things up later in the
period but that tie was broken when Jim
Campbell, assisted by Gerrard Ryan and
Rob Core, scored with four minutes left in
the period.
Seaforth added two more goals in the
second period while their opponents were
held scoreless. Jerry Wright, assisted by
Dan Wesenberg got the first goal then the
two reversed the procedure for the next goal
with Wesenberg scoring and Wright assist -
Mount Brydges launched a final attempt
to bridge the gap with a goal scored five
minutes into the third period. But that
attempt proved futile when Seaforth widen-
ed it again with a goal by Jerry Wright,
assisted by Jim Campbell.
in a game in Mitchell Friday night the
Centenaires recorded a 7-2 win over the
Mitchell Hawks.
Mike Betties led off the scoring for
Seaforth in the first period when he scored
off passes from Tom Turner and Bill Dale.
