FIVE GENERATIONS -Edith Logan of Blyth, now a resident at Huronvlew, Clinton, will
celebrate her 102nd birthday on November 5, Enjoying good health, Mrs, Logan is shown with
four generations of her family at a dinner party at the home of her daughter, Effie (Logan)
Stephenson of Franklin Street, Seaforth. While rocking her great great granddaughter,
six-month old Chantal Stephenson of Vancouver, her great grandson, Donald Stephenson of
Vancouver sits beside Mrs. Logan. Standing are her daughter Effie and her grandson Robert
Stephenson of Ottawa. Their combined ages total 268 years, six months. Mrs. Logan, the
former Edith Jackson, is the eldest of a family of four. She was predeceased by a younger
brother many years ago but her sister Carrie died at the age 01'94 a year ago and she has a sister
In Sarnia, Maude MacDonald, who marked her 100th birthday last July 1. Mrs. Logan was a
seamstress, learning her trade In Seatorth as a young woman. She has always enjoyed good

the seat bell.
• When required, tether straps must be fastened.
• Shoulder belts or harnesses should not he under
the arms,
• Lap belts should he low on the hips. "
Child safety seats are only effective in reducing
injuries when they are used properly.
