WEDDINGS SHCF residents go bowling
KNIGHT -DRAPER
Juanita Lorna Draper and Bradley John
Knight were married at the Knox Presbyte-
nat. Church in C'ranhrook on Saturday,
August 17, t985. The double ring ceremony
was performed by Rev. K Knight. The
groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack
Knight of R.R. 2 Brussels, and the bride is
the daughter of Mr. Lorne Draper, Brussels
and Mrs. Erlene Caldwell, Blyth. Matron of
honor was Karen Hindley, friend of the bride
aL,d bridesmaids were Trina Watts, friend of
the bride, Joanne Knight, sister of the
groorn, Saleema Breen, friend of the bride
and Rachel Battye, friend of the bride,
Best Than was, Jim McNichol. friend of the
groom and ushers, Kevin Draper, brother of
the bride, Steve Knight, brother of the
groom and Jerry Bremner, friend of the
groom. After a reception at the Brussels,
Morris and Grey Community Centre, the
newlyweds honeymooned in northern Ont.
Mr and Mrs. Knight are now residing, in
Mitchell, Ontario,

GRADUATES
USA JOHNS, daughter of Stan and June
Johns of RR 4. Seaforth, has successfully
completed her legal secretarial course at
Westervelt London. She has accepted a legal
position at London City Hall.
Seaforth Health Care Facility residents
went bowling Monday at Nobel Lanes. The
winner was Pat Ryan.
On Wednesday afternoon Rev. Cheryl Ann
Stadelbauer-Sampa and choir came for a
worship service with the residents and then a
social hour followed. '
Thursday afternoon euchre was played
with winners: lone hand, Verna McClure,
high score, Elmer Bakscy and James Nolan.
Friday it was too cool to have the barbecue
outside so it was held inside. The afternoon
was enjoyed with Gladys Van Egmond's band
playing for the dance.
We welcome Liz Brown to our facility.

Mary Lamont visited Kelly Lamont.
Helen Cameron, Brussels visited Carol
Geddes.
' Dave and Eva Netzke were out to visit Rose
and Pat Altman and had supper with their
grandson Roy Altman and his wife of
Kitchener.
Betty Glanville visited her grandmother
Elizabeth Brown.
Ina and Ellen Scott of London and Ross
Scott of Brucefield and Lovey Shaw of
Toronto visited Bill Scott.
Lou O'Sullivan spent the day at home with
his brother Jim of St. Columban.
On Sunday Mr, and Mrs. Stewart visited
Bill Scott.
Irene Omand had her brother and family of
Gorrie visit her.
Mary Nolan visited her husband Jim
Nolan.
Marg Smale visited all residents Sunday
afternoon.
Erle Dow's daughter Mabel and husband
of Bayfield visited him.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Brown, Egmondville
visited his mother Elizabeth Brown.

The Minister of Agriculture and Food, The
Honorable. Jack Riddell, has announced
changes to the Income Stabilization Program
for crops that will benefit producers.
Producers will now have until October 11 to
enroll in the program. Cheques for enrolment
fees may now be post-dated for November 30.
The program runs for 1985, 1986, and 1987.
Producers must enroll at the start of the
program, and remain in it all three years or

during the course of the program.
A producer enrolls now for crops grown in
1985. Each year thereafter (1986, 1987) a new
form will be sent to producers, to enroll crops
grown that year. The fees paid for each crop
will be deposited in an account for the
producer and will earn current savings rate
interest.
