SAUSAGE MAKING—Anyone taking the opportunity to tour the inside of the historic Van
Egmond House during Sunday's Ciderfest got a chance to view the mechanics of old-fashioned
sausage making, at a display set up in the kitchen. (Raffle photo)
SCARECROW CONTEST—This gruesome scarecrow, built by Steven Papple, left, and Derek Gridzak, both of
Egmondviile, certainly looked frightening enough to keep the birds out of any apple orchard. The boys entered
