The young woman chosen to represent the county will be announced during the evening of September 6 at the Brussels Community Centre. Mary Murray is a 16 -year-old from Dublin. She attends Seaforth District High School and has started Grade 12 this year. The daughter of Connie and Arthur Murray works as a field hand in Exeter for Len Veri. She plays basketball, baseball and piano "occasional- ly„ Margaret Heipel is another Grade 12 student but attending Central Huron Second- ary School in Clinton. She lives at RR 3, Clinton with her parents Earl and Irene. The 16 -year-old works at Sanderlea Farms and enjoys curling, tennis and generally likes all kinds of sports. Laurie Schneider has just started a job at Keynote Computers in Waterloo. She is the daughter of Leon and Jean of RR 1, Fordwich. She is 18 and participates in various sports and crafts and plays piano. Brenda Nancekivell, 16, also plays piano. She sings as well, and plays volleyball and figure skates. The daughter of Larry and Lynne works at the Redwood Restaurant in Clifford and attends Grade 11 at Norwell Secondary School. The single university student in the contest performance show Don Messer's Jubilee, Neptune Theatre's musical about the famous television show has proven so popular at the Blyth Festival that the fast performance on November 17 has almost sold out already --three months before the performance. Don Messer's Jubilee, which is a recrea- tion of the characters and music of the long-running television show, was the smash hit of the last year's season for Halifax's Neptune Theatre. and comes to Blyth at the start of a coast-to-coast tour. Consequently. the Blyth Festival has added another performance at 8 p.m. on Sunday. November 17, 1985 at Blyth Memorial Hall, and tickets for the new performance will go on sale at the box office on September 9. Due to a tight touring schedule, this will be the only additional performance possible in Blyth, so patrons who have not yet purchased their tickets are advised to order soon for the best seating. Patrons who have purchased tickets to the original performance should note that the performance time will be 3 p.m., not 2 p.m. as originally printed on the tickets. Technical difficulties have made the later matinee time necessary. Patrons may use the new performance as part of their purchase of a Blyth Festival spring -fall Maxi -package (all four events) for $20, of Mini -package (any two events) for $15. or purchase single tickets for $10 each. The 18 -year-old is the daughter of Mac and Joan Stewart and has a variety of interests including broomball, playing piano and shows cattle as a member of 4-H. She works at McLee Farms. Darlene Darlow is the daughter of Ralph and Sharon of Wingham. She attends F.E. Madill Secondary School and is in Grade 11. Darlene is 16 and works on her parents' farm. She enjoys horseback riding and 4-H. Tickets are available at the door of the Brussels Community Centre for $6.50. Lunch will be served at the September 6 event.
