Mousseau clan gets together

Margaret Mousseau was hostess for
several cousins from the Windsor area and
Fort Charlotte, Florida on Saturday. The
relatives were in : town for a reunion.
Attending from this area were Mr. and Mrs.
Lee Oesch of Clinton, Mr. and Mrs. Dick
Taylor of Hensel!, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd
Mousseau of. Grand Bend and Mr. and Mrs.
Don Mousseau and Mr. and Mrs. Brad
Mousseau of Hensell.
Mrs. Laird Mickle visited Thursday even-
ing with Mrs. Mervyn Tiernan at her home in
Dashwood.
Connie Taylor of Gravenhurst was a recent
visitor with Ross and Donna Corbett. She also
visited other friends and family in the area.
Mrs. Arthur Dark, Lucan visited this week
with her mother Dorothy Munroe.
Judith Mi'ekle of London and friend visited
Sunday afternoon with her grandmother,
Mrs. Laird Mickle.
Mrs. Glen McKnight and Ida Dickert
visited with friends at Chesley Lake on
Tuesday.
Rev. Kenneth Knight conducted worship
in Cannel Presbyterian Church. on Sunday
with Edith Bell assisting in the service of
song.
Alexander anniversary held

On Sunday, August 4, the Alexander -
Chandler families were invited to attend the
45th Wedding Anniversary of Norm and
Helen Alexander of Londesborough. The
family held the gathering at the Falls Reserve
Conservation Area at Benmiller, Ontario.
Many of the families attended for the day, as
well as distant relatives who camped for the
occasion.
Congratulations to Mary Thomson on her
marriage to Paul Eisler on Saturday, August
10, at Carmel Presbyterian Church in Hensel]

Mary and Paul Eisler have built a house in St.
Columban. Another wedding took place on
Saturday August 10, when John Binnendyk
married Kate Ferguson at St. Patrick's
Church in Dublin. John and Kate Binnendyk
will live. in Deep River where John is working
for the Hydro Company. Best wishes to both
couples.
Visitors with Al and Margaret Hoggarth
this past week were Janice and Grant Schultz
from North Bay and their two sons Paul and
Gary; May O'Day, her daughter Linda
Markham and Linda's daughter Melissa

General Hospital as a result of a fall in her
home. Wesley Ham, Huntsville is here
visiting for a few days.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred McGregor, Petrolia,
spent the weekend here.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Caldwell and boys have
returned from a trip to Red Lake, Alberta.
Robert Dalrymple is a patient in Seaforth
Community Hospital.
Pearl McBeath spent a couple of days in
Goderich with Audrey Rumble.
Violet Ross spent last weekend with her
sister Florence O'Neill, London. Elizabeth
McLaughlin of Montreal visited last Wed-
nesday with Ross Scott. '
Mr. and Mrs. D'Arcy Rathwell and
members of their family attended the
wedding of her nephew Paul Cundy to
Deborah Johnston last weekend at Grand
Lake, Quebec.
The Brucefield-Kippen church service will
be at 11 a,m. on August 18 at Brucefield.

Residents of the Northcrest Home enjoyed
a potluck supper on Thursday evening with 15
attending.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Coghlin, Debbie and
Paul of Fordwieh were Sunday evening
dinner guests at the manse with their uncle
Rev. McDonald. They also visited on Sunday
afternoon with Rachel Schwalm.
CHURCH NEWS
Mr. McDonald returned from holidays on
Sunday morning and conducted the Service in
the United Church.
Sharon W Linn greeted the congregation
and Dennis Martin, Ross Veal, Mervin Fields
and Lome Gackstetter were the ushers. Joan
Corbett and Elaine Corbett were the baby and
toddler care attendants. Robert Gackstetter
was soloist. Belva Fuss was the organist for
the service.
The flowers at the front of the church were
placed in loving memory of Paul Lavery by his
parents and brothers. Next Sunday is the
baptismal service. Christine Tremeer will be
guest soloist.
Following the service everyone enjoyed a
fellowship hour at the side of the church with
cookies and refreshments with Mrs. Audrey
Christie as the hostess assisted by Barbara
Gackstetter.
WASHED ASHORE — The Seaforth Swim Club+hosted Its final
meet of the season Saturday at Lions Park. 'Although the club did
not win the meet coach Anne -Marie McQuaid was pleased with the
individual performances. Sarah Jphnson finished ahead of the girls
