dreams
in a self-assured, almost cocky manner
despite her protestations.
The weakest link in the play comes in the
performance of "the children", who tackle
their physical acting with relative security,
but seem to at the same time force their
verbal acting. They repeat their lines in an
almost syrupy -sweet manner, gushing over
their words' at times when such seems
inappropriate and unnatural.
But that feeling was only fleeting. All in all
the performance was well done and the
audience reacted to it with favor. Primrose
School District 109 did 'what it intended,
working to .create an atmosphere of conflict
and love - conflict being that between the
generations, the sexes, and the new and old
ways of life. It also created in its audience a
reawakening to the choices offered in life,
and the importance, of keeping an open mind
to what is, is to be, and has been before. •
