Wayne Cronin of Dublin and Melita
Harmsworth of London were married on June
8 a St. Mary's Church in London.
He is the son of Mrs. Delaine Cronin, and
she is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel
Harmsworth,
Lisa Catania of London was the maid of
honor. The bridesmaids were Suzanne
Oldham, Michelle Pace and Dolores Mc-.
Arthur, all of London, and Karen Ryan
Dublin.,
The junior bridesmaids were Brenda
McArthur, Jennifer Rowles and Melissa
McArthur, also all of London.
The best man was Gary Cronin, and ushers.
were Mike Costello of Seaforth, Brad Oldham
of London, Tom Harmsworth of London, and
Dale Cronin of Dublin.
The flowergirl was Danielle Nickerson of
London and bearing the ring was Jason Ryan
of Dublin. •
The reception was held at the Ula'aina
Country Club in London, and after their
honeymoon in the Grand Bahamas, the
couple will live in Egmondville.

Joan Marjorie, daughter of the late Mr.
and Mrs. Lyle Racho, Seaforth and Bevan
Robert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Shapton,
Exeter exchanged vows -Of promise and love
and began their new life together on July 6,
1985 at Northside United Church, Seaforth,
The Rev. James Vanslyke officiated. The
maid of honor was Janet Shapton, Exeter and
bridesmaids were Dianne Shapton, Exeter
and Brenda Columbus, Collingwood. Sabrina
Murley of Oakville was the flower girl. The
oest man was Wayne Shapton, Exeter, and
ushers were Doug Willard, Brampton and
Mark Szentimery, Branchton. The ring
bearer was Ryan Murley of Oakville. Music
was provided by Margaret' Whitmore and
Graeme Craig of Walton. After a honeymoon
to Quebec City, Bevan and Joan are residing

Hodgerts mark anniversary
SCHLEEN—SW ART
Joanne Adelaide Swart and Gary Wayne
Schleen were married in Seaforth on June 22
by Rev. Maurice Platts. Joanne is the
daughter of Rov and Angeline Swart of
RR 4, Seaforth and Gary is the son of
Wilfred and the late Dors Schleen of
London. Matron of honor was Lynn Burke
and bridesmaid was Kim Swart, both sisters
of the bride. Best man was Dave O'Brien
and guests were ushered by Ted Dziuba,
both friends of the groom. Music was
provided by Tom Burke of Staffa. Following
a dinner and reception at the Seaforth
Legion Hall. the couple honeymooned in the
Georgian Bay area. They are now residing in

Steve Alan Watson, son of Donald and
Grace Watson of RR 4 Clinton, and Glenda
Louise Workman, daughter of Harold Work-
man of Mitchell, were married July 20. The
ceremony took place at the Ontario Street
United Church in Clinton. The bride and
groom both lived in Mississauga, and the
maid of honor was Cathy Brand of London.
Bridesmaids were Gloria Workman of Bur-
lington, Sandra Stanovie of Kitchener,
Joanne Tyndall of Stratford. klowergirls were
Kathryn Stanovie of Kitchener and Jennifer
W atson of Sault Ste. Marie. Myles Kukurudz
of Oakville was the best man. Ushers were
Dean Watson of Stratford, Jamie Workman
of Mitchell and Gary Watson of Toronto.
After their honeymoon in the Poconos, the
couple will reside in Kitchener.'

The 60th annual reunion of the Hodgert
clan was held Saturday July 13, 1985 at the
Lions Park in Mitchell with 135 registering
throughout the day.
Keeping with true Scottish fashion Rodger
Luxton the bagpiper was resplendent in full.
scottish dress and piped several numbers
prior to a short history of family members.
Again Rodger piped us to a gourmet
smorgasbord for the evening meal.
A welcome was extended to all by Arnold
Cann, Exeter, President of the reunion and
Bill Hodgert, Seaforth, chairman of the day.
Special events marking the 60th reunion
were arranged 'by Jack, Jean and Lois
Hodgert, the events being a group photo-
graph, posters of family members, an update
for the Family Tree Book, souvenir spoons
suitably engraved for the 60th reunion and a
family history of all the wings of the family.
Audrey Hoff compiled a list of names
identifying everyone in the group photo of
1975.
A full sports program wasenjoyed by all
followed by the traditional ball game.
The oldest person present as well as
travelling the furthest distance was Bea
Hodgert of Vancouver. Brittany Schoene-
weiss of Owen Sound was the youngest being
just six weeks old.
Officers for 1986 are; Honary President,
Mrs. Whitney Coates; President, Ross 'and
Kathleen Hodgert; Vice -President, Don and
Maida Gaiser; Secretary, ' lois Hodgert;
Treasurer, Lillian Hodgert; Table Commit-
tee, Glen and June Stewart, Alma Richard,
Wilma Coates and Janet and Stephen Rice;
Sports Committee, Faye Gaiser, Alan Gaiser
and John and Marie Jaques.
