She, wrote it in Blyth in May. Mr. and Mrs. George Cole, Ancaster spent the weekend with their daughter, Bonnie Lamble at the United Church Manse. Jeff McGavin has returned from the Olympic Sports Camp near Huntsville. He attended the Ontario 4-H Leadership Camp for one week. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Elston and family and Mrs. Margery Ritchie spent a recent weekend with Gordon and Bernice Lyddiatt at Silver Birches resort, Minden. • Mr. and Mrs. Jack Nelemans spent the weekend horseback -riding on the Bruce Trail. Isabelle Shortreed and Leona Conley, Brussels, returned Saturday night from a 15 -day motor coach tour of the western provinces and Vancouver Island, touring Victoria for a day then taking in the Calgary Stampede prior to returning to Toronto, Mr. and Mrs. Murray McCall, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Pryce were holidaying recently around the French River District. Karen Warwick, Michael and Kendra of Olds, Alberta, are spending their holidays at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs Ken McDonald. Viola Kirkby has spent several days at her cottage at Point Clark. Hitting for McNichol was Christine Preszcator with a triple and Linda Gridzak, a home run. Queens vs Ken Smith Ken Smith beat the Queens with a score of 11.5. Bonnie Lamble spoke to the children on parents' love and her sermon was "God's Children." The Vacation Bible School is going on every morning this week for all denominations. It is being held in the basement of the church. The Walton I unit will serve supper Friday evening prior to the Blyth Festival. General UCW suppers are scheduled for August 9, 23 and September 16. It can also be dangerous, which is why three representatives of the London Branch of the Red Cross Small Craft Safety unit were at Seaforth Lions Park last week to put on a demonstration for local children. The youngsters are Harold Hugill helped out in a demonstration of canoe safety last week at Seaforth and Mike Smale, both of Seaforth.
