H. N. Anderson, the principal of Exe-
ter public school, has resigned as he in-
tends smiting the profession, having been
offered a much more lucrative position
as partner, in business at Sault Ste Marie.
Mr. Anderson taught for eight years in
S. S. No. 1, Usborne, and for the last
year and a half has been principal of the
Exeter public school.
Since the murder of the little girl at
Oollingwood it has developed that there
are at least forty different couples, one
white man and one black, of tramps

Greer has investigated about a score of

black man have been seen on tramp to-
gether and suspected of being guilty of
