KERR W i N G • H A M At the Fat Mc h s LETTERS FROM WINNERS -.OF SWEEPSTAKES I have been freqnently naked a'out tny, uiethorl of feeding, and et may interest some to know that I largely attribute my success to Verba'ream, which I have used durtug several years. and daring the last two years have used a considerable quantity. Esperiail have I had good results with lambs that were being: fitted for exhibition parposc'. Other lambs not getting it were freqnently trnnbleri with ticks, but we have never found any trouble with ticks when sheep or lambs were fed Herbugenin. I only feed a teaspoonful to sheen and r triter lase to lambs once a day. Three sheep that I bought in 1900 were fairly alive with ticks. I put them with nay other show sheep and gave thein Herbagenm, and when sheared, about the middle of March, 1991. they were perfectly free from ticks, and they had no sheep wash nor other remedy or preventive than Herbagenm. I may further say, that the sheep which were fed Herbage= were in eo lunch better condition than my other sheep which were not fed it that when sheared the clip averaged 2 lbs more than the others. I have also used it with cows and other stock to gond tidvantage. Yours sincerely. (Signed) JOHN ORR. Lakeside Farm, North Dumfries, County of Waterloo, Out., Feb. 19th, 1902. _e OTE -Mr. Orr has for a number of years been a winner of Reds at Toronto,Chicago, C:ttelph and elsewhere. In 1901, at Toronto, he took first on pair of wether Iambs, and sec- ond on pair of yearling treaters At Chicago Exhibition, Anthem of 1901, he took first and second on single lambs, and first on the best five sahibs. also first on yearling and champion- ship ou yearling. This yearling took the sweepstakes wherever exhibited, and wound up at C. aelph Fat Stock Show. Dee., 1901, with first in his class, and first for beat carcase. Mr. Orr was also winner of a number of prizes in breeding classes at Toronto, 1901. I here faith in Herbagenm. I fed 9 head of stock for the Guelph Fat Stock Show. I Fed them all Herbagenm regnlarly and they took to it naturally from the "first. And al- though I gate them nil the heavy food they would take not one of them got off their feed or bloated tiering the 'whole time. This was my first experience in feeding Herbagenm and I was certainly astonished tit the results. These cattle did better than lever had cattle do be- fore. At (staelph Fat Stock Show I won first prize and sweepstakes for beef carcase besides three: first, three second and two third prizes and I attribute mach of my success to the use of Herbert nein.
