D. L. Strachan won the silver medal
at the ninth annual games of the Kin-
cardine High School. held on Sept. 26th.
It was given by Dr. McCrimmon, chair-
man of High School Board and was pre-
sented for manliness and good influence
in and around the school during 1001-
1002. A. secret vote by the students of
that term was taken and the result an-
nounced that the prize should go to Mr.
Strachan. Since it was given for worthy
merits it is a prize worthy of honor in-
deed. D. L. taught in S. S. No. 8, Mor-
ris, and being well known iu that locali-
ty his many friends will be pleased to
hear of his success. He is to be congrat-
ulated and all give him their best wishes
