Miss Maggie Miller of Toronto is visit- ing under the parental roof. The Epworth League of Salem church hell. a garden party at Ezra Merkley's, Gth of Turuberry, on Thurs- day. The attendance was not large, owing to bad weather. The receipts amounted to 515, and those, present re- port a pleasant evening. A well contested game of football was played here between the championship team of Galt and our boys. The game was very interesting.
