Miss Carol Messer of Bluevale was the
guest of Mr. and Mrs. John 'Robertson of
Sanderson street, on. Tuesday last.
Mrs. Black and daughter Ellen, of
Bluevale were visiting et the former's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Robertson

stock when Mr. Black returns from
Manitoba. We are'sorry to report this,
but Mr. Black perhaps thinks it is for
the best. The village loses a good busi-
ness num in every respect. Tne furni-
ture business has nc>t been as well looked
after for the past 25 years as Mr.
Black has done it, and the family are
very desirable residents. Mrs. Black
was a willing, worker in the Presbyter-
ian' Church. The children are nice and
well behaved, and the business men of
oar village will endorse this that Mr.
Black was an addition to our village.
He was appointed tax collector for a
number of years and is appointed for
this year but will no doubt resign the
position now. Whatever Mr. Black's
intentions are he will have the best

William Chester Harris, son of Mr.
