ment bad fatted to cure, and who bad

ohronio invalids The case of Mrs,
henry Britton, 1284 Alexander Avenue,
Winnipeg, Adan„ adds another striking.
proof to the truth of this assertion, Mr..
Britton writes as folio aB owerning hie
wife's long illness and ultimate cure
through the nee of De Williams' Pink
Pine. "It is a simple thing to reoom•
mend Dr. Williams' Pink Pills, and yet
it is difficult to express tally one's heart-
felt gratitude for such a marvellous re-
medy, as they have restored my wife to
health and strength after the best efforts
of the medical fraternity had failed.
For years prior to our ooming to Cana.
da, and since that time np to about
three years ago, my wife had been sub-
ject to severe illnesses from what the
doctors said was ohronio anaemia. She
was utterly and entirely helpless, and
so weak that she had to be lifted in and
ont of bed for weeks at a etretoh. The
trouble was aggravated by recurrent
rheumatism and heart trouble. She

The value of the output of metallifer-

daring the first half of the present year
amounted to a total of $12 620,781. The
silver production was worth nearly $1,-
000,000 more than in the corresponding
period of last year. The increase in the
niokel and copper output of the Sudbury
mines was very large.

One evening while reading a newspaper
I happened to see an advertisement of
Dr. Williams' Pink Pills. It told the
case of a young woman who had been a
great sufferer from anaemia, and who
testified to having bean oared through
the use of these Pills. The case seemed
to describe very olosely the symptoms of
my wife, and although I had pretty
nearly lost all hope of her ever being
well again, I deoided to get a supply of
the Pills and urged her to use them.
My wife was thoroughly disheartened,
and said she expected it was only an-
other oaee of money thrown away.
However, she began taking the Pills,
and I thank God she did, for after she
had used them for a time, she felt they
were helping her. From that time •on
her appetite oame back, her dolor began
to return, and ebe who had been looked
upon as a helpless invalid began to take
a new interest in life. She continued
taking the Pills, and through them her
health continued to improve, until at
last we were able to heartily congratu-
late her upon her complete restoration
to health. Some three years ,have since
passed, and in that time she has never
been bothered in the slightest degree
with the old trouble. Her cure has as-
toniehed everyone who knew how ill
she had been, and we acknowledge with
heartfelt thanks our gratitude to Dr.
Williams' Pink Pills whioh literally
brought her back to health from the
brink of the grave."
Dr. Williams' Pink Pills cure such
cases as this in fast one way—they
actually make new blood, whioh fills the
depleted veins and brings new strength
to every nerve and every organ in the
body. Nearly all the everyday ailments
of life Dome from poor or watery blood,
and it is because Dr. Williams' Pink
Pills make new blood that they cure
anaemia, indigestion, headaohes, side -
aches and beokaohes, rhuematism,
neuralgia. general weakness and the
ailments that growing girls and women
do not like to talk about, even to their
doctors. If yon are weak, sick or ailing,
no other medicine will cure you so
quickly as Dr. Williams' Pink Pills.

The monthly bank statement is a trust•
worthy business barometer, and that for
July is satisfactory in every detail.
Compared with July in 1909, deposits on
demand have increased 13 per oent; de-
posits atter notice 15.4 per cent; current
loans in Canada 20 9 per cent; current
loans elsewhere 52 9 per cent; and oiron-
lation 12,5 per cent. The only decrease
is in call loans elsewhere. These were
reduced by $27,000,000 during the mon-
th, in preparation for the removing of
the crops Ourrent loans in Canada
were last month $623,008,336 against
$539,821,041 in July 1909, an increase
whioh tells its own story of expansion of
business and confidence in the future.
As the Monetary Times says, there is
no sign of restriction of oommercial ao-
tivity, and the statement should prove
an effective reply to the ever busy pessi-
mist.
