Mr. and Mrs. Thos, Watt, of Mio, Mich., are spending a couple of weeks with relatives and friends in this vicin- ity. Mr. and,Mrs. Brune Pollen and babe Parmelee Pullen, of Owosso, Mich. are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Robt, Max. well. Rev. F. and Mrs. Shore and daughter, of Lisken,North Dakota, have been visit- ing for a few days with old friends in Wingham. Mr. and Mrs. 0. G. yanStone have rented a summer cottage at Kincardine and will spend the next few weeks in the lake town. Rev. D. Mr. Wesley Moore, Chief of Police at Stayner, died at the age of 50 years, The town of Campbellton, in New Brunswick, has been practically wiped out by fire. Jesee'11dwards of Belwood was buried while digging a well, and died before being taken out. -Over $200 wasrealized by the Ladies' Auxiliary of Wingham General Hospital, from the sale of "tags" on Tuesday.
