The Canadian Associated Preae learns
it is probable that at an early date there
will be an exodus of natives of Finland
to Canada. The Canadian Government,
it is understood, is prepared to afford

due to the withdrawal of the right of

Was the Ore Stolen?
George E, Gordon Rogers, account.
ant of the mine, and William Acker, ore
sorter of the Lucky Godfrey mine, are
under arrest at Cobalt. The arrest
arises out of a ehipment of ore made in
April, just before the winter roads btoke
rip. This was all high-grade ore, eight.
een tons being estimated M $40,000.
When the shipment arrived et the
smelter at Thorold the bags were found
to contain country rock and low-grade
vain matter, and to be worth about
$5,000, instead of $40,000. It is andel•
pitted that the men will be charged with
stripping all the high-grade from vain
matter at the sorting table and placing
it in bags apart, where, night by night,
they would take it away and Cache it.
