THE SPRING ASSIZES
There was a short session of the High
Court of Justice this week. The only
Case tried was that f Biggins vs. Hod-
gins, an action for personal injuries.
The plaintiff is a farm laborer residing
at Cllinton and the defendant is farmer
residing in London township, in tbe
connty of Middlesex Claims for $3,000
and costs of the ao action were entered.
Verdict was given for plaintiff for $250,
each party to pay his own costs. Chas
Garrow for plaintiff and F. W. Scand-
rett (London) for defendant. The no.
tions of Bird vs. L Tan, Wickham vs.
Cameron, Thamer v Powell and Woods
vs. Woods et al. w re postponed, and
Gatenby vs. Horton, Gauley vs. Culbert
and, Krueger Vs. Binkley were settled.
