Should the experiment be successful, it is anticipated that a new industry will be created, and the whole system of steel manufacture re• eolUtionized. —The Harriston Review muses thus- ly—They have a church hockey league at Orangeville, comprising teams • from the Presbyterian, Methodist and Eng- lish churches. STRANGE EXPERIENCE OF A HQWICI MAN, (Listowel Standard) This neighborhood has been consider• ably excited over the strange experience of John Doig of Fordwicb, 8013 of Mr. Andrew Doig of Howiok, who to all appearances was drugged and robbed while away from home, On Tuesday, 19th January, he .drove to Listowel and sold his horse to Mr, Henry Zinn of Wallace, who paid him $75 in cash, the trnnsaotion taking plane in one of the town hotels. Doig remained in town that night, slapping at the Grand Oen- tral, and in the morning took the bus for the station. lie was ell right and perfectly sober when he left, and had his money with him, considerably over a hundred dollars, he having had quite a sum on him when he left home. The train for Stratford was the only train out that day and he is believ- ed to have got aboard it, although it was going in an opposite direction to his. home. In explanation of his boarding the train for the south, he had said something to Mr, Zinn about going to Galt, and it is supposed that when he left here he intended to go there, but that he reached Galt is somewhat doubtful. Nothing definite is yet known of his whereabouts for nine days after he was last seen here. On Friday morning of last week, between 2 and 3 o'clock, he turned up at his brother's home, Andrew Doig, who lives a mile er two south of Molesworth. 'When let in he was in a stupor and unable to give any explanation of his condition, or how he got there. As he remained in .a semi conscious state, his brother came to town on Friday for a physician, and to make enquiries about him. The family had become very anxious over his long absence, and the condition he was found to be in on his return did not allay their anxiety. In the opinion of his medical attendant he had been doped with drugs, probably morphiue, and as his money was all gone it is supposed that he had been robbed. He is thought to have been under the influence of the drug for several days before he turned np,. and has remained in the same con- dition up to the present. At times he talks incoherently, and appears to fear being looked up somewhere. In his mutterings he has said something about Sarnia and Wyoming, when asked how he reached his brother's place, he said he got off the train at Listowel and walked there. This, however, is doubt- ed, as it is not considered possible that he could have walked about eight miles in his stupified condition. It is thought more probable that he was driven to his brother's, and if so, by whom? Evident- ly some person who is acquainted with him and with the neighborhood. It is hoped that he will soon regain his senses and be able to clear up the mystery surrounding his strange ex- perience, Mr. Doig had a new pair of shoes, number sixes', and a ohristie stiff hat with him on returning to his broth- er's which may help to unravel the mystery. La Grippe Coming Again. The doctors believe another epidemic of Grippe is here. and already many are suffering. The iinedieel men are not afraid of Grippe since Catarrhozone was introduced, and claim that no one will ever catch this disease who inhales the fragrant healing Catarrhozone a few times daily. Catarrhozone kills the Grippe germs and prevents it spreading through the system. Last winter I had an attaok of grippe writes 0. P. Mc- Kinnon of Si. John's. I bought Catar- rhozone and got relief in short time. I found Catarrhozone better than any- thing else and was cured by using it. Catarrhozone cures and prevents Grippe Colds, and Catarrh.
