Spring Suits, Overcoats,

Is the theme we bring to your notice at this time. Some wise man
has said—"My son, get wisdom, and with all thy getting, get under-
standing." The wise man to -day says—"Get a New Suit or Over-
coat, and when you are getting, get it made to your order, in your
own town. where you know what you are getting, and that it is
genuine Tailor-made." That would be wisdom; that would be un-
derstanding. Our NEW SPRING GOODS have arrived, and it is
not exaggerating to say that they include the nicest lines we have
had for some time, and at prices corresponding with the qualities
shown. Space will not allow us to go into details, but
WE- HAVE THE GOODS

Lawsuit For 18 Cents.
The bad results of appealing to the
courts to settle differences were again
exemplified at the assizes at Wood-
stock in the action of Young vs.
Thompson, both farmers residing in
East Oxford. The action was in con-
nection with a field of oats, and
several rods of fence, which the de-
fendant had moved a few feet side-
way. The land in question was about
ten rods long and twelve feet wide.
Practically the case resolved itself in-
to a dispute regarding the location of
a line fence. The value of the Iand in
dispute amounted to about 18c, but
the principle of justice was deep root-
ed in each of the litigant, and the case
went merrily on despite the advice of
Justice Olute to settle. After the evi-
dence was heard thedjudge decided
that the plaintiff had not sufficiently
established his claim, and dismissed
the action, eaah party to pay his own
,costs. The costs in the case will
amount to several hundred dollars,
whereas the actual amount; involved
was only about 18e.

Mrs. T. S. DougaII, 523, Flora Lye.,
Winnipeg, says ;—"My baby girl was
arranging some of her doll's washing
on a clothes -rack beside the stove,
when she fell, and her hand being
thrown out to try and save herself,
came in contact with the side of the
hot stove. She sustained a serious
burn, and her cries and screams were
terrible.
"I sent out to the druggist for the
best remedy he had to use on a burn.
tle said there was nothing to equal
Zain-Jauk, and Sent back a supply. I,
applid this, and it soothed the pain so
quickly that the child laughed through
her tears. I bound up the hand in
Zam-Buk, and each day applied Zam-
Buk frequently and liberally, until the
burn was quite cured. The little one
was soon able to go on with her play,
and we had no trouble with her dur-
ing the time the burn was being heal-
ed. I feel very grateful for this eur),
and would recoinmend all motherb to
keep Lam-i3uk handy for emergencies
like this,"
This is good advice. Zam-Buk, be-
ing purely herbal in its composition, is
particularly suited to the deiteats skin
of children. While a powerful healer,
it is also highly antiseptic. Applied
to a burn, a cut, a scald or a scratch—
to any in ury of the skin, in fact ---it
will kill alt disease germs, and removes
all danger of festering, blood -poison-
ing, or inflammation. At the same
time, it stimulates the Cells to great
activity, and fresh healthy akin in
anon produced to repair the damage.

Injured. By Bull.
Mr. W. J. Devereux, 2nd con,, Tuck-
ersmith,had a narrow escape from
serious injury on Saturday morning
last, by being attacked by a bull. A
bull belonging to L. G. VanEgmond
was in the stock yards at Seaforth
and Mr. Devereux walked into the
yards, when the bull attacked him.
It struck him and knocked him into a
mud hole and was about to gore him,
when L. G. VanEgmond and Robert
Winter, jr., who were there at the
time, came to his rescue and drove the
animal off. To their assistance and
the fact that he fell into a soft hole,
saved Mr. Devereux from serious in-
jury, if not death. He was hurt about
the abdomen and back, but apart
from this he escaped injury, and al-
though still sore, is able to be out and
around.
What Wind Did.
Mr. Matt. Ingram, of Ohurchville,
had an adventure during the recent
windstorm that nearly killed, the old
man, another of which he hopes won't
befall hint during the rest of his life
time. He had gone to the Thomson.
farm about 8 p. m. to stir up the, fires
and make the house comfortable for
his son who was bringing- his bride
home that day. Mr. Ingrain had pull,
ed open the storm door at the front
porch and was about to open the inner
door when the gale banged the storm
door against his- head with terrific
force, and the next moment he, with
the door and porch, where whisked
through the air. When he woke up,
he thinks ten minutes later, he found
himself under the ruins of the porch
fully twenty feet from the house, Mr.
Ingram had a black eye and a very
sore head for a few days.

Weed Growth Killed Him.
Benjamin Bradley, 78 years of age,
of East Garafraxa, who had been liv-
ing in Orangeville for the past 15
months, having retired froth his farm,
is dead, on account of a seaweed grow-
ing in his stomach. Six months ago
Bradley coughed up about six inches
of this weed which was of a dark
green color. Dr. Gibson, of Hillsburg,
who was his fancily physician before
he came to'' Orangeville, applied the
stomach pump, and succeeded in
breaking up the growth. At various
times since Bradley has coughed up
portions of it, which has been of a
semi -transparent, muddy color. Speci-
mens of the growth have been sent to
a well-known analyst, who describes it
as a variety of seaweed, the seed of
which has likely been concealed in a
raw oyster, which Bradley had eaten,
and the seed had ,taken root in the
folds of the lining of the stomach.
Bradley went against the advise of
his physician, and refused to submit
to an operation. He leaves six sons,
John, ,Isaac, Benjamin, Wm., Joshua
and Joseph ; and one daughter, Mrs.
Wm. Smith, alt of whom are highly
respected in Dufferin Co.

Bride 28, Groom 70.
.On Thursday at the home of the
groom in Brant, the Rev. M. J. Wil-

made Mr, Henry Williams the hus-
band of Miss Emily Bell. This as the
saying is, is Mr. Williams' third mat-.
rimoniel venture. The bride is a
handsome young woman of 28, while
"At 75 years of age I became so run-
down and weak that I was discour-
aged, I had taken many different
tonics and medicines which were pre-
scribed for mo without gaining in
strength, A friend advised me to try
Vinol, saying that it was a cod liver
and iron medicine sold on a positive
guarantee tb benefit or money refund-
ed, I decided to do so and I am glad
to say that it balls me tip wonderfully.
I gained in strength until I felt like a
new man. I consider Vinol the best
tonic in the worldd for elderly people."
Jacob Young, Norristown, Pa.
This is another instance which de-
monstrates the remarkable power of
Vinol to create strength and build up
health for old people after all other
means have failed, -
As wo have yet to learn of an old
parson who has ever taken Vinol and
has not benefited by it we ittahesitat-
