cause the urgency of the case demands
it.

HINTS FOR ORCHARD AND GARDEN.
Spray the leaves of your currant
hushes for currant worm when the
leaves are half open. Use one ounce
of Paris green to about ten quarts of
water. Dusting with hellebore also
will do the trick.
If there are no small fruit bushes in
the garden, start a few this spring.
They will grow almost anywhere but
good attention and care give best
results.
Keep the old strawberry patch as
clear of weeds as possible but this is
not so important, as during the first
year of its growth. If you are start-
ing a new patch this spring, do not
allow the plants to blossom. Cut out
the flower stalk and allow the plants
to give all their attention to the pro-
duction of runners and new plants
rather than to produce fruit.
When digging soil for the vegetable
garden, work in an application of
well -rotted manure. A few wood
ashes are useful.
Plant or sow hardy vegetables as..
soon as the ground is fit for them.
These include onions, peas, spinach,
radish, lettuce, carrots, beets `and par-
snip. Sow the seed in freshly -stirred
soil.
A delicious plant for home growing
is salsify or vegetable oyster. Sow
the seed as early as possible. Handle
the crop the same as parsnips.
Is Your Chest "Wheezy. ?"
Tightness and wheezing means your
trouble is deep-seated. To delay is
dangerous. Inflammation roust be
drawn out at once. Rub the throat
and chest with Nerviline, and put en a
Nerviline Porous Plaster. Relief will
come in an hour. The counterirritant
effect of the plaster relieves the tight-
ness and strain, draws out the sore-
ness, eases the pain. The penetrating
qualities of Nerviline enables it to
soak to the very core of the trouble,
and you ° experience a feeling of
warmth and relief that proves the
danger is past. For weak chest, sore
throat and tendency to colds, the Ner-
viline Treatment beats all others,
try it.

The fact that between 15 and 20 MEN WERE WAITING AT
OUR STORE AT 7 A, M. for the doors to open, clearly demon-
strates that the people of Wingham know a good thing when
they see it.
One thing in particular we desire to emphasize and that
is OUR TALKS To YOU THROUGIi THE ADVANCE will be always
true and correct in every particular. We believe it just as
much a lie to advertise what is not so, as to make a false
statement. face to face, an d when we advertised a lot of $3.60
acid $4.50 shoes on sale Saturday at $1.97, we meant exactly
what we said—hence the crowd.

away of Mrs. Jatnes Ross, who lived
about two miles north of Teeswater.
Mrs, Ross was the widow of the late
James Ross, who, nearly fourteen
years ago, met with a fatal accident
while driving home from town. She
had been ill all winter and constantly
sinking so that her deathh" was not un-
expected.
A sad occurrence took place here on
Thursday, of last week when Mrs.
Eliza Cameron, who was visiting her
+laughter, Mrs. Robert mallongb, died
very suddenly. Mrs, Cameron was an
old lady of 83, and had coxae up from

Thursday evening.
The eight year old son of Mr. Thos,

around the axle and the bone of the
leg broken a little above the ankle.
Fortunately the team was stopped in
time to prevent a much more serious

What You Want
But Find The Way To Digest What
You Do Eat.
The first thing to do in the case of
indigestion or stomach weakness is to
strengthen the muscular walls of the
stomach and intestines, so that they
will care for the fond that is eaten.
In no other way can this be done as
well by taking a Mi -on -a tablet before
each meal, This restores strength to
the stomach muscles and stimulates
pouring ont of gastric juices, then the
food digests readily and you begin to
get the full benefit from what you eat.
Use Mi -on -a whenever you have sick
headache, heartburn, bad taste in the
mouth, coated tongue, spots before
the eyes, sleeplessness and the many
other symptoms that are the direct re-
sult of indigestion.
J. Walton McKibbon gives with
every50 cent box of Mi -on -a a guaran-
tee to refund the money unless the
remedy cures.
