Fox's A Daughter Of The Gods" Coming
With a cast of fine screen artists headed
by the inimitable aquatic star, Annette
Kellerman, "A Daughter of the Gods,"
William Fox's million -dollar spectacle, is
coming here for two days. Wed. and
Thurs, March 23rd and 24. at the Lyceum
Theatre.
Among some of the noteworthy and
startling facts connected with the filming
of this film master -piece are the following.
The actual cost of the -picture w as
$1, 100,000; total number of persons ap-
pearing in the 223,000 feet of film taken
and cut to 10,000 later, 21,218. Seven
cameramen were used in taking the
scenes as many as four photographing
the same scene Simultaneously from diff-
erent angles, One of the costliest things
in making the picture was the building of
a Moorish city which later was destroy-
ed to make one of tbellbig scenes". This
was built at a cost of $350,000.
The production has a prologue in vdiich
