THE MOCK TRIAL. .
The Mock Trial held itt the assembly
tcom of the C. C. P. on Thursday ev-
ening last was o decided success: Be-
fore commencing' the trial e well hen-
dered and interesting instrumeutal was
given •by the Misses Hoover and Genii.
That beg= the trial.' After the read-
ing of the . iteliettnent, the jury was
called, consisting of C. le. Fishes -Jere -
man, Miss . Johnson, Miss E. Copp,
Miss J. Coupland ard J. Bedard, H.
Gam, P. Jolieston The evidence was
very interesting and while the jury
was deciding the question two interest-
ing solos were given by Mr. N. L.
Murch and Miss Houston. The decisi.
on of tbe ji.ory was "the plaintiff shall
pay to the defendant $15o, a year as
long as site remains untnarried, also

The hockey team played in Exeter
on Thursday evening last end Ailsa
Craig the following evening, wnining

wrote on the Junior Harmony (Har-'
mony, Rudiments and History) exam-
inations in, connection with the Londco
Conservatory of Music in Feb., were

Mr. Albert Graham, who was born
in the township of Stanley in x85x and.
moved to IVIiehigan in 18717, died at
his home in Marlette, that state, 011,
Feb. 21st. had been ill for six
mcntlis with ceucer of the stomach.
He is survived by his wife and their
four children, two sons and two de,u-
ghters. Mr. Reuben Graham of Clin-
ton,. brother of deccesee, and his sis-
ter, Mrs. Alex. Robinson of Ooderich,
reached. his bedside shortly before the
