There was, reported Crawford and
Hunnisett, a fairly good trade on the
Toronto cattle market to -day. The
best exporters sold at $4.75, to $4.85
and 84.90, mediums 84.50 to $4.75, poor
84.25 -to $4.50, export cows $3.25 to
$3.75,
Butcheringbulls cattle sld a

$4.50 for the best, 34 to $4.25 for
medium, and $3.25 to $3 75 for poor ;
butchering cows sol,lat $2.75 to $3,and
butchering bu'Is $2.75 to $3.25.
Fenders sold at $4.25 to 34.50 for the
short -keeps, and $3 75 to 34 for those
not so good. Stockers sold at 13.50 to
13.85, and calves at 6 1-2c.
Sheep sold at 4 1-4c and bucks at
3 1-4c. Yearlings sold at 5 3-4c to 6c.
Medium milkers were in slow request
at $25 to 335, but the best sold freely
at $45 to $60.
